Replacement Bathtubs in Connecticut

Premium Replacement Bathtubs Across Connecticut

At Cechinel Design & Build, we transform worn, outdated alcove tubs into breathtaking, architectural bathing features. Serving homeowners throughout Connecticut, our team brings architectural precision and high-end tile craftsmanship to every bathtub replacement project. Rather than resorting to temporary plastic shell overlays, we completely reconstruct your tub area with solid masonry, cast iron, heavy acrylic soaking tubs, and custom floor-to-ceiling tile surrounds that resist moisture for decades.

Replacing an old bathtub is one of the most effective ways to refresh your bathroom’s design, safety, and functionality. Whether you are replacing a stained fiberglass basin or upgrading to a deep soaking tub, our replacement bathtubs service ensures flawless plumbing integration and waterproof longevity. Deep Soaking & Freestanding Tub Upgrades

Experience the luxury of a deep ergonomic soaking tub designed for maximum relaxation. We install heavy-duty acrylic, enameled cast iron, and stone-composite soaking tubs with floor-mounted or wall-mounted solid brass fillers. Our spatial planning ensures your new tub fits comfortably within your existing room footprint while maximizing interior bathing depth.

Custom Tile Surrounds & Niche Installations

Ditch generic plastic wall liners for custom-tiled alcoves. We surround your new tub with floor-to-ceiling porcelain, marble, or ceramic tiles, integrating recessed shampoo niches, decorative accent borders, and built-in corner ledges. Every tile arrangement is laid out to align cleanly with your room’s natural architectural lines.

Precision Waterproofing & Plumbing Integration

A tub replacement is only as good as the hidden structure beneath it. Through our turnkey design-build approach, we replace aged subfloors, inspect joists for moisture damage, update supply lines and waste stacks, and seal surrounding walls with Schluter waterproofing membranes to protect your home from future leaks.
